No matter the number of panels, the system or how complex the install, we’ll make sure your operable walls are in good, safe working order.

We’ll even give you peace of mind too because you’ll know your wall complies with all regulations and your business is protected from any unexpected breakdowns and potentially costly one-off repair bills.

Is your moving wall or partition legally compliant?

Are you aware that it is a breach of statutory duty under health and safety law if you do not maintain, service and repair your moving wall system?

The regular maintenance of movable walls and sliding or folding partitions is, unfortunately, often overlooked.

Individual panels alone can weight anything between 50kg and 200kg and in the event of a serious breakage or the rare event of a failure, these pose a very real healthy and safety risk. Failure to showcase due care and attention could result in a heavy fine or at worst, prosecution, in the result of an accident.

For these reasons, we recommend that all moving walls, panels and partitions are serviced every twelve months at a minimum.

Without proof that you have complied with relevant health and safety law, any liability as a result of an accident and potential injuries will be the site owner or manager’s responsibility.

Provisions of Work Equipment 1998 Section 2, subsection 6, clause 2 states that:

“Every employer shall ensure that work equipment exposed to conditions causing deterioration which is liable to result in dangerous situations is inspected.

a) at suitable intervals; and

b) each time that exceptional circumstances which are liable to jeopardise the safety of the work equipment have occurred, to ensure that health and safety conditions are maintained and that any deterioration can be detected and remedied in good time.”

Packages

Each moving wall is different, as is every site and installation. Because of this, we offer the following three different packages to suit all requirements.

Finally, should you ever want to upgrade, you’ll only pay the difference between the two packages. No hidden extras, no double-billing.

Platinum (SP)

• Initial visit from an engineer to inspect and service the wall checking all moving parts and ensuring it is functioning as it should.

• 12-months cover to attend if there are any issues reported with the wall however – if user error is the reason for any failure Creatif reserves the right to charge for the visit.

• Small moving parts replacement.

Gold (SG)

• Initial visit from an engineer to inspect and service the wall checking all moving parts and ensuring it is functioning as it should.

• 12-months cover to attend if there are any issues reported with the wall however – if user error is the reason for any failure Creatif reserves the right to charge for the visit.

• All parts are chargeable.

Silver or Single Day Visit (SDV)

• A single visit from an engineer to inspect and service the wall checking all moving parts and ensuring it is functioning as it should.

• Any and all additional services / parts / visits are at an additional cost.

• It may be possible for a customer to upgrade to the Gold cover.
